The theme for this call is “Entrepreneurship”, so feel free to submit after reading about this genre or style of short film that you believe will captivate our audience. We do welcome all forms of storytelling and encourage you to let your imagination run wild.
All entries must meet the following requirements:
The film must be no longer than 15 minutes in length
The film must be original work and not infringe on any copyrights
The film must be submitted in a digital format (preferably .mp4) via email or file-sharing service
The film must not contain any offensive or discriminatory content
Selected films will be featured on our blog and shared on our social media platforms, reaching a broad audience of film enthusiasts. Additionally, we will include a brief bio and links to your personal website or social media profiles to help promote your work.

- Overcoming Challenges: Entrepreneurs often face numerous obstacles in their journey to success. Whether it’s financial struggles, competition, or other difficulties, successful entrepreneurs must learn how to navigate and overcome these challenges to achieve their goals.
- Innovation and Creativity: Entrepreneurs are known for their ability to think outside the box and come up with unique solutions to problems. They must be creative and innovative to develop new products, services, or business models that meet the needs of their customers.
- Risk-taking and Resilience: Entrepreneurs are risk-takers by nature, as they often have to invest time and money into their ideas without any guarantee of success. They must also be resilient and able to bounce back from failures and setbacks, learning from their mistakes and persevering through tough times.

Film Festival Guidelines
Baltimore, MD–The Monumental Mondays short film festival’s mission is to amplify and recognize the next gifted videographers who share stories that strengthen and inform communities about entrepreneurship and the arts. This inaugural virtual festival is organized by AMNGLOBALFILMS & AMNGLOBALARTS and anticipate growing into a collection of small business owners, performance and visual artists. During the festival, AMNG aim is to stress the significance of illustrating, sharing and designing stories of entrepreneurship. Additionally, AMNG plans to amplify, promote and nurture the ingenuity of independent videographers by offering a platform to exhibit their work in short form cinema. Well crafted films with persevering stories and themes are encouraged.
Films are an unique way to raise awareness, improve understanding and foster change, so that this inaugural festival aims to amplify small business growth awareness and literacy about marketing, entrepreneurship and the arts.
The AMNGLOBAL Monumental Mondays Festival invites independent filmmakers, videographers, entrepreneurs, non-profits, civic organizations, alumni , and film critics from around the country to submit their original projects on the topic of entrepreneurship and marketing. The festival aims to recruit a new generation of film and video creatives to champion and promote entrepreneurship in the community.
Monumental Mondays themes for 2024
The main competition theme for the inaugural Monumental Mondays film festival hosted by AMNGLOBAL will be aligned with our commitment for small business growth.
Submissions will be open from MARCH 1st, 2024 through December 31st, 2024.
For submitting original work, the original creator of the submission must choose one theme of Monumental Mondays from among the ones provided, which coincide with AMNGLOBAL mission published on our website.
- Business Formation – stories about launching your first business,
- challenges, etc..
- Marketing pitfalls – films about a campaign that didn’t succeed
- Events and Production – films about the work you do in the community.
For each of these three themes, participants may submit short documentaries or fiction films of 3 to 8 minutes in length; short videos specifically crafted for social media; or animation films of 1 to 5 minutes in length for all the described categories.
Civic engagement -produced film: videos of 3 to 8 minutes long produced by the community and highlight new capital projects in the area.
Small Business educational film aimed at youth: videos of 3 to 8 minutes long produced with a specific educational goal to encourage youth entrepreneurship.
Video designed specifically for sharing and uploads to AMNGLOBAL social media : videos of 1 to 5 minutes discussing your products and services
RULES & TERMS
Due to limitations created by COVID-19. The Monumental Mondays festival will be entirely virtual and all firm screenings will be free and open to the public. All post-screen discussions and workshops will be conducted via zoom and require registration.
